Now, after three month after Birkenstock collaborated with Dior the brand is poised for another significant milestone with the impending launch of its collaboration with Manolo Blahnik. Transforming the Arizona and Boston silhouettes, Manolo Blahnik infuses its distinctive opulent touch, bestowing regal makeovers that evoke the spirit of early 2000s fashion seen in iconic shows like Sex and the City, Moulin Rouge!, and The Devil Wears Prada.

Despite the opulence, the collaboration retains the essence of Birkenstock shoes, making them the perfect choice for those seeking a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor settings. Manolo Blahnik’s unmatched flair manifests in six different iterations, available in black smooth leather, fuchsia velvet, or blue velvet. Crystal embellishments take center stage, strategically placed on the defining areas of both clogs and sandals.

The Arizona pairs feature microfiber French piping and preserve their anatomically shaped cork footbed, seamlessly blending luxury with functionality. The Boston clog receives similar treatment, elevating its style with a single crystal flair and a lush velvet finish on its closed-toe design. Additionally, the classic smooth black leather option caters to those who prefer a more traditional aesthetic.

Regardless of the style, Manolo Blahnik’s interpretation of these two Birkenstock staples is destined to become a highlight in the brand’s history of noteworthy collaborations. Blahnik expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “Birkenstocks have been in my wardrobe since the very beginning (of time) — I have loved and worn mine for many years. I am thrilled that we have been able to collaborate, fusing the Manolo Blahnik aesthetic with the everyday comfort of Birkenstocks is simply wonderful.” Birkenstock CEO Oliver Reichert added, “We are delighted to collaborate with Manolo Blahnik, whose unrivaled craftsmanship has long set the bar for shoemaking. This is a unique collection, fusing our trademark designs with the flair of Manolo Blahnik, to create pieces that embrace a bold and directional aesthetic that takes both to a new level.”

The release will unfold in two parts, with the first collection hitting the shelves on March 24 at all Manolo Blahnik locations, on the brand’s site, and on Birkenstock’s website, as well as at select retailers worldwide. The second collection is scheduled to drop in June.
