What you think about tableware and textile? I love it and few days ago I found new collaboration between Maxwell&Williams and Australian artist Pete Cromer. Collection was presented in July 2020.
Pete is renowned for his signature use of colour and collage techniques. Each piece in the Pete Cromer collection is based on an original artwork, featuring an Australian animal created in his very own contemporary style.
Created using Pete’s signature collage-style process, each piece in the range has an inspired combination of shapes and colours, coming together to create pictures that represent some of your favourite wild animals from around the world. From lions and tigers to hippos and meerkats, each piece is full of character with a favourite for the whole family.
The collaboration includes mugs, coasters, tea towels, tote bags and drink bottles.
Maxwell & Williams is an Australian tableware brand started in 1996. This company has two founders: Max Grundmann and his business partner Bill Ryan. Maxwell & Williams was born out of HAG Wholesalers, importers of various brands of European homewares and owned by Harry and Anna Grundmann, Max’s parents, who migrated to Australia in 1961.
In 1977 Harry retired and Bill bought 50% of the firm. Now brand has about 70 collections and marketed in more than 55 countries.
